EAI and Collaborative Cataloging Japan (CCJ) are thrilled to present a free in-person screening of a selection of video and film highlighting the exchange of avant-garde experimentation in New York and Japan during the 1960s and 70s, featuring Jud Yalkut, Masanori Ōe and Akiko Iimura.
Collaborative Cataloging Japan is pleased to co-present with Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI) and Lightbox Film Center, a screening of works included in the Vital Signals compilation, published by EAI.
Organized in conjunction with the panel event, Archival Impulse: Collecting and Archiving Moving Image in Asia, on September 10th, the group of archivists, curators, and researchers from Asia will take field trips to nearby organizations that collect, preserve, and circulate moving image. The visits are hosted by US-based archivists, educators, and museum professionals.
