Kohei Ando's Works Featured on CCJ Through April

CCJ is excited to partner with Kohei Ando, our Monthly Membership featured artist for the months of January through April. Ando was born in Beijing, China on 1 February 1944. He received a bachelor's degree from Waseda University's Faculty of Science and Technology, then went on to study at L'Ecole Centrale in Paris. He produced experimental films for Shuji Terayama's theater company, and in 1968, using a 16mm camera he purchased with Terayama, Ando produced his first film, Oh! My Mother. He is the recipient of awards at numerous international film festivals, and his works are included in collections at major art museums and film libraries around the world.
